The Mary of Nazareth Catholic School faculty and staff would like to extend our congratulations to our very own Mrs. Mary Crossen. We are proud to announce that Mrs. Crossen is receiving the Pittsburgh Diocese Golden Apple Award given only to a few outstanding teachers throughout the Pittsburgh Diocese. It is said that teaching is the profession that makes all other professions possible. Mrs. Crossen is our middle school teacher who brings about change in her young students with fun, excitement and helps them develop a thrill of learning. She has a positive attitude and a sense of humor; she creates a wonderful learning environment for her students. We at Mary of Nazareth Catholic School find ourselves lucky to have such a talented and caring teacher in Mrs. Crossen. The Golden Apple Awards dinner was held on May 28 at St. Paul Seminary.
